In May 2011 a team from Flexible Training took part in the BUPA 10k Run in London in aid of raising money for Crossroads Care Hertfordshire North. The event was managed in association with the London Marathon and the route is likely to be a part of the marathon to be used in the London Olympic Games next summer. Taking in such sights as the City of Westminster, Embankment, Whitehall, Trafalgar Square and finishing up at The Mall, the team all finished in respectable times ranging from 52 minutes to 1hr 45 minutes. Their fantastic effort saw the team raise a total of £1201.00 which is greatly appreciated and will help a long way with emergency breaks for Carers.
