Walsworth Festival 2016 was held on Sunday 22nd May. The event, now in its 42nd year, took place on Walsworth Common, and nearby St Faith’s Church Hitchin.
The largest free festival in the area was opened by North Herts District Council vice-chairman Alan Millard, who also represents the area.
Crossroads supported the local festival by having a stall promoting awareness of the help for unpaid family /friend carers in the area.
We ran a competition ‘guess the number of sweets in the jar’ The lucky winner was local girl Annabelle aged 10 with the correct guess of 250. This was the exact number in the Jar!
Annabelle was very happy to receive the Jar full of sweets as her prize! Pictured is Cassie who helped on the Crossroads Stall and Phil from Letchworth Morris Men who performed on the day
