Lauren Urquhart
HR & Training Administrator
I have worked for Crossroads Care Hertfordshire North since 2011. I came on board as a support worker for the charity and gained a real sense of satisfaction throughout my role; in particular helping carers have the break they so desperately need.
After graduating from University in 2013, I developed within my role to become the HR & Training Administrator. My role involves booking the support workers to attend all mandatory training to comply with CQC regulations and outsource further training courses to meet support workers needs. I am heavily involved within the recruitment process for Crossroads and the new starter processes to include preparation of job offers, induction information, references and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. I seek to employ the highest calibre of candidates suitable for the role.
Working for Crossroads Care has enabled me to develop my skills and gain a true understanding of the everyday struggles which carers face. I take great pleasure working for such a welcoming and hard working charity.
