One of Maxine’s Building Better Opportunities participants will be performing at the Watford Fringe Festival on Saturday 12th October. He has overcome extraordinary challenges to do what he loves – music. If you would like to hear his story and his music then please come along. It would be great if as many of us as possible could support him.
The Music Remembers: An inspirational talk with music from David Naylor
In 2017 David almost died from a severe brain injury which left him in a coma for 3 weeks. Upon regaining consciousness, his loss of memory meant he’d quite literally forgotten who he was. Then early one morning, a song came into his mind and he realised he’d once written it. In time, more songs followed and after two months in hospital, they gave him a reason to live.
